With industry newcomers and existing talent all looking for a place on a small island, it’s hard to cram it all in. Despite what many people think, Ibiza offers more than just house music.
We’ve compiled a list of alternative events for you below and believe us when we say that. There is something for every taste.
drums and bass
We all know that drums and bass is a genre beloved by many, especially in the UK. Traditionally, you wouldn’t tend to see many events here on the White Isle that cater to that sound. Well for 2022, if you’re a D&B chef, you’re in for a treat.
Stronger at Eden welcomes some of D&B’s biggest DJs and producers to the decks this summer – Hunting and status, hybrid spirits, Andy C., Wilkinson, Sub-focus and more, every Monday in San Antonio. With their previous events already exceeding expectations, it will only get bigger and better as the season progresses. That’s not all, however.
Having made his summer debut at Pikes last week, Goldie MBE is ready to adorn the stand of the underground paradise of Playa d’en Bossa octanefor a residency of 4 dates every Thursday in August. As the original British pioneer of D&B and Jungle, this is an island exclusive not to be missed, once in a lifetime.
DJ Snake and Puerto Rican singer Ozuna just announced two special shows at an outdoor daytime venue Ushuaia this summer. Taking place on On July 24 and 31, these headliners are an incredible meeting of the biggest names in electronic and Latin music.
Since their hit singles Taki Taki in 2018 and SG in 2021, the duo have created a strong demand for this type of music around the world. What better place to catch them than in the music capital of the world?
Annual AA is also an artist paving the way for Latin Trap/Reggaeton to listen to in Ibiza.

The original San Antonio club Are Paradise hosts a UK-based R&B/Hip-Hop party honey on its dancefloors every Saturday. So far, big names have taken center stage this summer, including Tion Wayne, Father and Ivorian doll. Who would have thought?
Also taking place in Es Paradis, You know the vibes is the Monday party led by the inimitable DJ Policy.
If you want to do 24 whole hours of this kind of music, you can start with Applebum at Ibiza Rocks, where some of the hottest DJs spin the decks poolside with old-school hip-hop and today’s R&B hits.
