Homeowner finds creepy doll and creepy note behind new house wall

A homeowner was shocked to find a rag doll and a creepy note hidden behind a wall in his new home.

Jonathan Lewis, 32, had just picked up the keys to his new blunder in Liverpool, when he decided to check out what was inside the space under the stairs that had been barricaded – see it already looks like to something out of a horror movie, right?

Elementary school teacher Jonathan started breaking down the wall and discovered an innocent-looking little rag doll in a pinstriped dress – but the cute doll was holding a creepy note, claiming the doll had killed the previous owners. Beautiful.

He said, “Dear reader / new owner, thank you for releasing me!”

“My name is Emily. My original owners lived in this house in 1961. I didn’t like them, so they had to leave.

“All they did was sing and be happy. It was sickening.

“Stabbing was my death choice for them, so I hope you have some knives.”

Well I think I speak for all of us when I say SELL HOME AND MOVE ON.

“I kind of knew there was this void under the stairs that had been covered in plaster.

“There was a wire going out where the previous owners had the refrigerator but I didn’t know where the wire was plugged in so I knocked on the plasterboard a bit to see what was there.

“I punched a hole the size of a fist, turned on a light, and there was a doll just sitting there.”

Lucky for Jonathan – who presumably doesn’t want to be stabbed to death by a possessed doll – it all seems like a prank.

The real estate agent has since told her that the kitchen was only redone about five years ago, which means the doll was likely placed there by then.

He added: “Some of my friends have told me to put my house back on the market and move out, but I think it’s just a laugh.

“I’ll be honest, I found it all hilarious. I would probably do the exact same thing.

“The letter says 1961 but the real estate agent said when she showed me around that the cooking had only been done four or five years ago.

“I think it must have been put there because the paper doesn’t look very old and looks relatively new.”
