Although known in the automotive world, her career began when she moved from Daytona Beach to Detroit after college and began investing in real estate. So it’s no surprise that now, for her home improvement show, she’s going back to her roots. In a chat with Hour Detroit, Lee explained how his love for home improvement began. “My automotive roots run very deep, but my real estate roots in Michigan also run deep. I moved here to invest in real estate. I’m a licensed realtor. While I’ve worked very publicly in the industry automotive, real estate has been more of a passion for me behind the scenes. I’m excited because with the release of the show, both of my passions are out in the open,” she explained. “The market is absolutely crazy right now, but that also excites me a lot. In terms of transition, [on] the previous show I hosted called “Celebrity IOU Joyride” I was able to grab the interior design component of all the vehicles on the show. It might sound weird to people like “What does interior design have to do with cars?” But I was able to work on an RV-style vehicle as well as a mobile barber shop, so we leveraged a lot of things that you would see in a typical interior design scenario,” she added. .
