If I would go out on the street and ask ten random people, I’d bet only about two would know what Camp Prime Time is … and that’s a shame about the great service they provide.
The mission is pure kindness!
They offer family fun, outdoor adventures, relief and respite for those who need it most.
The story of Camp Prime Time: Since 1986 Camp Prime Time has served families with a critically ill / terminally ill or developmentally disabled child or children in the Cascade Mountains just west of Naches, Washington, providing an outdoor camping experience where families can have fun in a supportive atmosphere at no cost to the family. Volunteers and donors are at the heart of camp operations, development and fundraising.
Went to camp and for me to see families finally take a break from the endless daily challenge of caring for these children and just be able to let go and let the volunteers take care of the work so the families can focus. about having fun together in an outdoor setting is something that stuck with me for a long time. I’m sure that moved you too, especially when you know that some of these kids’ time is running out and they won’t be coming back. It makes you want to help … and it is possible!
A fun feathered fundraiser! (Come costumed!)
