An elementary school teacher has been ordered to “move out” after a terrifying discovery inside the walls of his house.
Jonathan Lewis got the keys to his new home on Friday, but his friends have already told him to put it back on the market after a grim warning.
The 32-year-old knew there was a gap under the stairs in his new home in Walton, so he attacked the wall with a hammer and looked inside to find two glowing eyes staring at him .

He told ECHO: “I just bought the house and got the keys on Friday. I kind of knew there was this void under the stairs that had been plastered over.
âThere was a wire going out where the previous owners had the refrigerator but I didn’t know where the wire was plugged in so I knocked on the plasterboard a bit to see what was there.
“I punched a hole the size of a fist, turned on a light, and there was a doll just sitting there.”
After removing more of the plasterboard, Jonathan realized that the old rag doll was holding a note and that she didn’t have a friendly feeling.
It read: âDear reader / new owner,
“Thanks for freeing me!”
âMy name is Emily. My original owners lived in this house in 1961. I didn’t like them, so they had to leave.
âAll they did was sing and be happy. It was sickening. Stabbing was my death choice for them, so I hope you have knives.
“Hope you are sleeping well.”
The creepy letter prompted Jonathan’s friends to urge him to go out and sell.
He said: “Some of my friends have told me to put my house back on the market and move out, but I think it’s just a laugh.”
Despite what his friends think, Jonathan is rather relaxed about this frightening discovery.
He told ECHO: “I’ll be honest, I found it all hilarious. I would probably do the exact same thing.
“The letter says 1961 but the real estate agent said when she showed me around that the cooking had only been done four or five years ago.
“I think it must have been put there because the paper doesn’t look very old and looks relatively new.”
